Turn your Amazon listing into a product video

Paste the link to your Amazon listing. ContentRoof reads the title, the bullet points and the description, and turns them into a short video with a natural voice, word-by-word captions, animated drawings and a call to action at the end.

Your listing already has the script

A good Amazon listing answers every question a buyer has: what the product is, what problem it solves, what makes it better, and the numbers that matter (capacity, battery life, size, what's in the box). That is exactly what a 30 to 60 second product video needs. Writing it again for a video tool is wasted time, so paste the link and let the listing be the brief.

Videos bring buyers from places your listing can't reach on its own: Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook. One video per product, posted where your customers already scroll, sends them back to the listing ready to buy.

What it reads from the listing

Part of the listing How the video uses it
Product title Names the product and sets the headline
"About this item" bullets The two or three benefits the video shows, one per scene
Description and details Supporting facts, and numbers for animated counters (hours, litres, watts, pieces)
Everything else Menus, ads, other products and the small print are ignored

The page is read as a visitor sees it, in about two seconds.

Nothing your listing doesn't say

The writer has one rule for product videos: only claim what the page says. That includes the title and the opening line. If your bullets don't mention "lasts ten years" or "the best on Amazon", the video won't either. It doesn't invent reviews, ratings, awards or numbers. You read the full script before anything is made, and you can change any word.

What the video looks like

  1. The buyer's problem in the first two seconds, so people stop scrolling.
  2. The product, said plainly, with a drawing of it.
  3. Two or three benefits from your bullets, each with its own animated drawing, or a counter when the benefit is a number.
  4. Your call to action at the end. It shows the shop's address by default; change it to "Search our brand on Amazon", your store name, or anything else.

Captions follow every word, and music sits under the voice. Save your logo and brand colours once in the brand kit and they appear on every video.

Sell in more than one country

Choose the video's language and the same English listing becomes a video in Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or Russian, with a natural voice and captions in that language. Useful if you sell in several Amazon stores, or want to reach buyers in their own language on social media.

When a page can't be read

Amazon sometimes shows a robot check instead of the listing. ContentRoof notices and tells you, rather than writing a video about the wrong page. Then copy the listing's title, bullets and description, paste them into the idea box, and you get the same video.

How it works

  1. Choose Product and paste the listing linkCopy the address from your browser while the listing is open and paste it into the idea box.
  2. Read the scriptWritten only from your listing: a hook, two or three benefits and your call to action. Edit any word.
  3. Pick the lookChoose a template and colours, or use your brand kit. Pick a voice and the video's language.
  4. Download and postSign in with Google (free) and download the MP4: vertical for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, square or 16:9 for feeds and YouTube.

Questions

Can I use any Amazon listing?

Any listing that opens in a browser without signing in. Make videos for products you sell or have permission to promote.

Will the video say things my listing doesn't?

No. Product videos only use the facts, names and numbers on the page, including in the title and the first line.

What if Amazon shows a robot check?

You're told the page couldn't be read. Paste the listing's title, bullets and description instead and the video is written from that text.

Can the video be in another language than my listing?

Yes. Pick one of ten languages; the listing is read as it is and the script is written in the language you choose.

Is it free?

Writing the script and watching the preview are free with no sign-up. The free plan includes 3 downloads with a small ContentRoof mark; paid plans export in 1080p without it.
