This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everything made, uploaded, stored or shared with ContentRoof, including scripts, prompts, videos, captions, pictures, thumbnails, carousels and public links.
Responsibility for content
ContentRoof provides software that turns a user's own ideas and instructions into videos. Users are solely responsible for the content they create, upload and publish, and for complying with the law and with the rules of every platform where they post it. Content made by users is not created, reviewed, approved or endorsed by ContentRoof and does not represent our views. To the extent the law allows, ContentRoof accepts no responsibility or liability for user content or for how the service is used.
Prohibited content
You may not use ContentRoof to create, store or share content that:
- Supports terrorism or violent extremism. This includes praising, promoting, recruiting for, fundraising for or spreading the propaganda of terrorist or violent extremist organisations or individuals, or glorifying their attacks.
- Promotes hatred or violence against people because of religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics, or incites, threatens or celebrates violence against anyone. Antisemitism will not be tolerated: no content that attacks, demeans or spreads conspiracy theories about Jewish people, denies or trivialises the Holocaust, or holds Jews collectively responsible for the actions of any state or group. The same applies to hatred of Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs or any other faith or people.
- Depicts prophets or other sacred figures. ContentRoof never shows the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, any other prophet, the Prophet's family or Companions, angels or God in pictures, in any form. Content meant to mock or insult any religion, its sacred figures or its believers is also not allowed.
- Sexualises or endangers children in any way. We report such content to the relevant authorities.
- Is sexually explicit, or shares intimate images of anyone without their consent.
- Impersonates or deceives: deepfakes, putting words in a real person's mouth, fake news presented as real, fraud, scams, phishing, or false claims about products, health, finance or elections that could cause harm.
- Harasses, bullies, threatens or reveals private information about anyone.
- Encourages self-harm, suicide or dangerous acts, or gives instructions for weapons, explosives, drugs or other serious harm.
- Infringes someone else's rights, including copyright, trademarks, privacy and publicity rights.
- Breaks any law that applies to you, to us or to the people who see the content.
Educational, documentary, news and historical content that discusses difficult subjects (for example, explaining the history of a conflict) can be acceptable when it informs rather than promotes harm. When in doubt, don't publish.
Misuse of the service
You may not try to get around our safeguards or limits (for example, by rewording prompts to produce prohibited pictures), interfere with or overload the service, access other people's accounts or content, create accounts automatically, or resell the service without our written permission.
Our safeguards
We use automatic checks to reduce misuse. For example, the AI pictures in cinematic stories are checked before they are made, and pictures of prophets, the Prophet's family or Companions, angels or God are refused. These safeguards are imperfect and are not a review of your content. They do not shift responsibility for content from the person who makes it to ContentRoof.
Enforcement
If we find or are told about content that breaks this policy or our terms, we may, at our discretion and without notice:
- refuse to make it, remove it, or disable its public link;
- remove AI pictures or other parts of a video;
- limit, suspend or close the account;
- keep relevant records and share them with law enforcement where the law requires it, or where we believe there is a risk to someone's safety.
When we remove a video, we tell the account owner the next time they use ContentRoof.
Reporting content
To report content made with ContentRoof, email [email protected] with the link, what is wrong with it, and how to contact you. We review reports and act on them as quickly as we can. For content posted on another platform, also report it to that platform: we can only remove what is on ContentRoof.

We may update this policy as the service and the law change. The date below shows the latest version.
