A Hindi video from one line
Hindi Shorts and Reels cover almost every niche, and the formats that work are well known: facts, history, space, motivation, quizzes. What takes time is the production: writing a tight script, recording a clean voice, adding Devanagari captions that don't break, and finding a picture for every line.
ContentRoof does that from a single sentence. The AI drafts the script in English for accuracy, then translates it into natural spoken Hindi. A natural Hindi neural voice reads it, and the captions follow each word in Devanagari.

Writing Hindi for narration
- Write how people speak, not how textbooks write. "शुरुआत" usually sounds more natural than "प्रारंभ" in a Short. If your channel uses more formal Hindi, that's fine too: the script is yours to edit.
- Hinglish words are welcome. "Science", "phone" or "planet" can stay as they are if that's how your audience says them.
- Use international digits (1, 2, 3). Most viewers read them faster than Devanagari numerals, they're easier to proofread, and digits are what the on-screen counters count up to. Listen to the preview to check how a number is read.
- One idea per paragraph. Each paragraph becomes a scene with its own drawing.
- Length. A 60-second Short is roughly 130 to 150 Hindi words. Adjust the voice speed rather than cramming in more words.
Topics that work in Hindi
- Indian and world history: empires, battles, trade routes. Years land on a clock or a timeline that draws itself, and the drawings change with every sentence.
- Space and science: black holes, galaxies, DNA, the brain. These have hand-made animations.
- Numbers that surprise: population, distances, prices over the decades, shown with counters and rising or falling charts.
- Quizzes and GK: a question, options, a 3-2-1 countdown and the answer lighting up green. General-knowledge quizzes are a staple for exam aspirants.
- Spiritual and mythological stories: calm music, clean line drawings and silhouettes, with no AI-generated faces.
Formats and posting
Use vertical for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and other short-video apps, 16:9 for a regular YouTube video, and square for Facebook. The post kit writes YouTube titles, a description, tags and hashtags from your script, so you can upload straight away.
