The main difference
Fliki started as a text-to-speech tool and grew into a video maker, so its strength is the voice: thousands of them, in dozens of languages, plus cloning your own voice and presenters. Visuals come from stock media and AI images.
ContentRoof started from the opposite end. Its job is to make every sentence look like what it says. It finds the nouns and ideas in each sentence and searches about 10,000 open-source drawings by meaning, in the narration's own language. The lines trace themselves on as the words are spoken. Places named in the script make a globe fly to them; a big number makes a counter count up; "grew" or "collapsed" makes a chart line rise or crash. When nothing fits, the narration shows as large kinetic text with the video's main subject, because a wrong picture is worse than none.
Where Fliki is the better choice
- You need a language ContentRoof doesn't have. Fliki lists 80+ languages; ContentRoof has 9.
- You want many voice options or your own voice. Fliki has a far larger voice library and can clone your own voice.
- You want a presenter on screen, or a digital twin of yourself.
- You convert blog posts or slides. Fliki takes a blog link or a PowerPoint file directly.
- You want to dub one video into many languages.
Where ContentRoof is the better choice
- Faceless explainers that don't look like stock montages. Science, history, mysticism and ideas, where a drawn galaxy or a map of trade routes carries the story.
- Urdu channels. Fliki has Urdu voices, but ContentRoof is built around Urdu: the AI writes the script in Urdu, captions are in proper Nastaliq, and numbers are spoken correctly (1947 becomes انیس سو سینتالیس).
- Quiz videos for teachers and trivia channels, with a 3, 2, 1 countdown and the right answer lighting up green.
- Data stories where bars grow as each of your numbers is said.
- No watermark on downloads, and original background music made for each video.
Who should pick which
Pick Fliki if voice choice and language coverage matter most, or you need a presenter. Pick ContentRoof if you want every sentence illustrated with something specific, you publish in Urdu, Hindi or Arabic, or you make quiz and data videos.

No. Fliki has a much larger voice library and 80+ languages. ContentRoof has natural neural voices in 10 languages, each with word-by-word captions in its own script.
Is there a watermark on free videos?
Not on ContentRoof downloads; you need a free Google sign-in to download. As of October 2026, Fliki's free plan includes a Fliki watermark.
Which is better for Urdu?
Both have Urdu voices. ContentRoof adds the rest of an Urdu video: an AI-written Urdu script, word-by-word Nastaliq captions right to left, numbers spoken correctly, and drawings matched to Urdu words.
Can I turn a blog post into a video with ContentRoof?
Paste the text you want narrated as a script and each paragraph becomes a scene. Fliki can take a blog link directly. ContentRoof also works the other way: its post kit turns a script into a blog article.

No. It uses animated line drawings, 26 hand-made illustrations and motion graphics. No stock footage and no AI-generated images.
