Russian videos that get the details right
Most video tools treat Russian as one more language to translate into. The details then go wrong: numbers split across two caption lines, place names that only match in one grammatical case, a Latin font with Cyrillic letters patched in. ContentRoof handles these properly.
- Cyrillic in every template. All seven looks (neon, 3D, sketchbook, bold pop, cinematic, chalkboard and clean) set Russian headlines and captions in fonts that have real Cyrillic letters.
- Russian number format. Numbers appear the Russian way, 13 000 with a space and 3,5 with a comma. "13 000" stays one word in the captions and is read aloud as a number, and counters understand scale words like "86 миллиардов".
- Maps that understand cases. Russian changes a name's ending with its role in the sentence: "в России", "из Москвы", "в Египте". The map recognises all of them, flies the globe to each place as it is said, and labels the pin with the name itself (Москва, not Москвы). "Из Москвы во Владивосток" draws the route across the country.
The AI drafts the script in English for accuracy and translates it into natural, spoken Russian. A natural Russian neural voice, male or female, reads it with exact word timing, so captions highlight each word as it's spoken.

Where Russian short videos go

Topics that work well in Russian
- History: Peter the Great founding St Petersburg, Gagarin's flight in 1961, the building of the Trans-Siberian. Cities get pins on the globe, and years roll on a clock or timeline.
- Science: Mendeleev's periodic table, how memory works, black holes and galaxies, which have hand-made animations.
- Lessons: a short lesson that ends with a quiz question, options, a 3, 2, 1 countdown and the answer lighting up. Useful for schools, tutors and exam prep.
- Products: paste a product link in the product mode; the script uses only what the page says, with your logo, colours and a call to action.
Tips for Russian narration
- Aim for about 120 to 140 words for a 60-second Short, then check the length in the preview.
- Split long sentences. Participle phrases (причастные обороты) read well on paper but are hard to follow by ear. Two short sentences beat one long one.
- Ты or вы? Short-video audiences usually expect ты. For business or teaching, edit the script to вы.
- Listen for stress. If the voice stresses a word wrongly, rephrase it or pick a synonym. You can also show one thing and have the voice say another:
{США|Соединённые Штаты}.
Shot your own clip? Caption a clip transcribes Russian speech and adds animated Cyrillic captions, word by word, that you can correct before downloading.
