Why short animated videos work for children
Children learn best from one clear idea at a time, said simply and shown at the same moment. A minute-long video with a calm voice and a drawing for every sentence holds attention far better than a page of text, and a question at the end turns watching into thinking. Making that kind of video by hand takes hours of drawing and editing. ContentRoof makes it from one line.
What each video has
| Simple narration | Short sentences in plain words, written for the age you mention |
| A calm voice | Natural narrators in 10 languages; slow it down for younger children |
| Drawings | Line drawings that sketch themselves as each idea is said: a seed, the sun, a planet |
| Numbers and maps | Counters, charts and a globe that flies to the places in the lesson |
| A quiz | A question with choices, a 3-2-1 countdown, then the right answer lights up |
| Big captions | Every word highlighted as it is spoken, which helps early readers follow along |

For teachers
- One lesson, one video. A short video works when it explains one idea well. Make a series for a whole unit.
- Say the age or grade in the idea. "Fractions for 10 year olds" gets simpler words than "fractions".
- Use the quiz to start the lesson. Play the video, pause before the answer, and let the class guess.
- Show it on the board. Pick YouTube 16:9 for the classroom screen, or Short for phones and parents' groups.
- Add your school's logo once in the brand kit, and every video carries it.
For parents
- Answer the big questions. "Why is the sky blue?" becomes a one-minute video you can watch together.
- Make it in your home language. Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish and more, with the right script and right-to-left text where needed.
- Keep it short. A minute is enough. Watch, talk about it, and try the quiz again the next day.
Safe and accurate
- Facts first. For explainers and lessons the AI researches the topic before it writes, and you can read and change every word before you make the video.
- No faces, no ads. The videos are drawings, numbers and maps, with nothing playing after them.
- Made by grown-ups. ContentRoof is for parents and teachers to make videos for children; children don't need an account.
How it works

- Download and shareSign in free with Google and download the video to play in class or share with your family.
Questions
Is it free?
Writing and previewing are free. The free plan downloads 3 videos with a small ContentRoof mark; paid plans export in 1080p without it.
Which ages is it for?
From about 4 to 12. Say the age in your idea and the script uses words for that age; for the youngest, slow the voice down in the studio.
Are the facts right?
The AI researches lessons before writing and a second pass checks the script, but always read it before showing it to children. Every word can be edited.
Can I use the videos in class or on YouTube?
Yes. The videos are yours to use in lessons, school groups and on your own channels.
Does my child need an account?
No. ContentRoof is for parents and teachers; children just watch the videos you make.
