Italian stories, told with maps and drawings
Italy's history is a gift for short video: Rome, the maritime republics, the Renaissance, Galileo, the unification. These stories are about people, dates and places, and ContentRoof gives each its own motion: a line drawing for every idea, a clock or a timeline that draws itself when years are mentioned, a two-sided layout when you compare two cities or two eras, and a counter when a big number lands. Cities whose Italian name matches the English one, such as Palermo, Torino or Bari, also get a pin on a flying globe.
The AI drafts the script in English for accuracy and translates it into natural Italian. A natural Italian neural voice reads it with word timing, so captions highlight each word and drawings arrive as their words are said.

Topics that work in Italian
- Storia: ancient Rome, the Renaissance courts, the Risorgimento, with timelines and clocks for the years.
- Arte e scienza: Leonardo, Galileo, the physics of light through a prism, the stars over the Mediterranean.
- Cucina e tradizioni: the origin of a dish or a festival, told in 60 seconds with drawings for each ingredient or place.
- Viaggi: cities, islands and coasts. A comparison of two cities splits the screen into two sides.
- Small businesses: a restaurant, a hotel or a shop explained in a short video with your logo and a call to action such as "Prenota ora" in place of "Follow". The property listing mode suits holiday homes and agencies.
Tips for Italian narration
- Length. Italian words carry many vowels and flow quickly. As a starting point, aim for about 140 to 160 words for a 60-second Short, then check the length in the preview.
- Tu or Lei? Short-video audiences usually expect "tu". For a business or formal channel, edit the script to "Lei" or "voi".
- Keep accents correct. "è" and "e", "perché" and "perche" are read differently; the voice follows what you write.
- Numbers. Italian writes 1.000 with a point and 3,5 with a comma, and a separator can confuse an on-screen counter. Write 1000 or "3 milioni" instead, and listen to how numbers are read in the preview.
- Start with the surprise. "Venezia è costruita su milioni di pali di legno" grabs attention faster than "Oggi parliamo di Venezia".
- One idea per paragraph, so each scene gets its own picture.
Formats and sharing
Vertical for Shorts, TikTok and Reels; 16:9 for a regular YouTube upload, with the narration on the left and the animation on the right; square for Facebook and Instagram feeds. The post kit writes Italian titles, a description, tags, hashtags and Instagram captions from the same script.

Questions
Can I paste my own Italian script?
Yes. Paste it as paragraphs, one idea each; every paragraph becomes a scene.
Will place names become maps?
Often. The globe recognises many place names, most reliably those spelled the same way as in English (Palermo, Torino, Istanbul). If a name isn't recognised, the sentence gets a drawing instead, never a wrong place.
Can I use it for my business?
Yes. The brand kit adds your logo, colours, handle and a call to action that replaces Follow, and there are product explainer and property listing modes.
Is it free?
Writing scripts and watching previews is free with no sign-up. Downloading needs a free Google sign-in. There is no watermark.
